The first Vogue Watches expansion, edited by CH24

The business edition of Vogue Leaders is now on the market, which for the first time also includes a watch supplement – Vogue Watches. The editorial staff of CH24 was responsible for the preparation of its content.fake rolex watch

The most famous and respected fashion press title – Vogue – has been present on the Polish market for several years. As part of special editions of the magazine, such as Vogue Living or Vogue Beauty, now the second issue of the business Vogue Leaders is hit the market, including the debut of the watch supplement – Vogue Watches. We are proud that the CH24 editorial team has been entrusted with drafting the content of all articles in it.

The leitmotif of the issue is an inspiration to find a timeless model that can become a constant companion of the wrist, a specific dot over the “and”, a compromise between needs, economy and common sense. By reading Vogue Watches, you will get to know the backstage of vintage watch fashion and the reasons why manufacturers dust their archives more and more often. With Łukasz Doskocz you will check how to change your flagship model, giving it an individual character through various personalization techniques, and together with Magdalena Piekarska you will consider whether the division into women’s and men’s collections still makes any sense. In turn, Tomasz Kiełtyka will prove that the technological race does not bypass the quite conservative watch industry.

We hope that among our proposals you will find interesting specimens, which will not change the subjective feeling of passing time, but at least make measuring it more enjoyable. On behalf of the entire editorial staff of CH24, we encourage you to read.replica rolex

Longines Record Heritage with a chronograph [live photos, availability, price]

Longines adds an equally classic chronograph with a black and gold dial, two wrist attachment options and a whole host of vintage charm to the classic Record lineup.

For at least several years, in the context of the winged hourglass manufacturer, we have been repeating that it is building its position on the market with the Heritage line. Models reactivated from the annals of history – perfectly reactivated, by the way – provided the company with a whole host of new customers. This, in turn, has kept the new, contemporary Longines watches somewhat in the shade.

For example, such a Record. Presented in a refreshed version a few years ago, the classic watch in a very eye-catching, natural form and several options went completely unnoticed. I bet that many of you – although I have no doubts about your watch knowledge – have just heard about this model and will hasten to look at the manufacturer’s website. So far only offered in a simple automatic version with three hands and a date display, Record debuts in the first installment with a complication. Surprisingly – not that I am complaining – Longines opted for a rather sports chronograph. How did it turn out …

Record in retro style

A few emotions ran through my mind when I saw the new Record for the first time. The first thing that catches the eye, of course, is the design, with particular emphasis on the details of the exterior and the dial. The trivial truth is that we buy a watch primarily with our eyes, and in this case I was immediately “bought”.

Just like the base Records, Heritage is classically designed. The pretty, traditional and eye-catching form is expressed in contoured, suitably wide lugs, coming out of a round envelope. From the top, the casing (about its parameters and their consequences in a moment) is topped with a polished bezel in which a rather clearly convex anti-reflective sapphire glass is embedded. On the right side there is a logo-signed, unscrewed crown, surrounded by a pair of oval, rectangular buttons. Longines paid a lot of attention to the finishing of individual elements. The case has satin sides, and its upper surfaces – the lugs and bezel – are polished. The polisher also found the crown and buttons.

Under a sapphire crystal, Longines closed a dial in a color combination known as “gilt”. Literally translated, it means “gold plating,” but in the context of the watch face, it refers to a black dial with rose gold applications. Such a color set undoubtedly has its charm and only one, though quite significant, disadvantage. Golden, slender hands against a black background are often lost from view, which makes it difficult to read the time – unless of course you check it on your watch.
