The Problem
Ms. Jeyachitra is the leader of the transgender group in Madurai and she is also in the catering business for years. She is a specialist in cooking meals and biryani. She had further plans to open a restaurant, but faced lots of challenges. First of all, it was difficult to find a rented place for their restaurant, and then, the shortage of resources was another big trouble for Ms. Jeyachitra. Along with that, the arrangements and apparatus of cooking, like refrigerator, mixer-grinder, cooking stove, etc. were not readily available.
In such circumstances, the expense of grid system electricity added more trouble. To bring out the solution for grid system electricity costs, solar-powered energy was a rescue for them. Along with cutting the electricity cost, this system also helped in continuing the business by reducing the irregularity of power. The input cost got reduced by installing solar-powered energy rather than grid electricity.
Establishing the unit’s approach creates several opportunities for employment locally. So, when there was no grid electricity, solar power mended the gap and replaced the grid along with reducing the input cost. Once there was a solution for energy resources, the end-users started upgrading solar technology. Such efforts make owners, groups, or individuals run their businesses by creating channels for financial methods.
