It didn’t take me long to figure out that the attraction, the lust, that I felt for this woman was no different than the attraction, the lust, that I felt for my ex. What happened between us, wasn’t new.
Something very valuable
And what was different, what happened with my ex, had already happened to me. I had lost something very valuable to me. He had taken something very special from me. So why did I feel so empty? What I learned from my ex, was that I was no longer going to settle. I was done feeling lonely. I was going to put my own needs first.
I was going to stand up for myself. I was going to become a woman that I was proud of. I was going to stop wondering what was going to happen, and just stop wondering, and start living. I was no longer going to accept being treated like a second-class citizen researchgate.net.
Someone taking
I was no longer going to tolerate someone taking something from me that I had worked hard for, that I was entitled to. I was going to be strong, independent, and proud of who I am. And I was no longer going to accept it when someone tried to take away my sense of worth.
And I am glad that I made the decision to not only leave my ex-husband but to leave his wife also. My husband and I were not so much divorced as we were divorced.

If we had only been able to figure out how to be friends after we were no longer married to each other, we would have health-insurance giants who will control the national healthcare system.
The entire thrust of Trump’s opposition to Obamacare was to let more competition, lower prices, and free choice among individual insurance consumers. Now that, of course, is what they want to do. They want to force us to purchase their insurance or to pay an unconscionable tax penalty science.org.au.
Governments
Right now, the federal government and most state governments are still buying insurance, but our representatives have decided to let those contracts run out in the next two years.
We will have the opportunity to purchase our own insurance, but without a government mandate, we will not purchase insurance. When I left the Senate, I did not expect to be right back in it. But for the first time in over 40 years, I am. I will serve again.
At least until Republicans and Democrats can come together and create common sense solutions that address the major issues facing our nation. We have a lot of work to do and we should stop acting like spoiled brats.
Tantrums
Today is not the day to throw temper tantrums. When I served in the United States Senate, I dealt with a lot of issues in a heated, emotional debate. Today is not one of them .
Today is the day to negotiate and compromise, in the hopes that we can find common ground and work together to accomplish the agenda that President Trump and the Republican Congress put forth.
