Tunnels are huge, we understand. When they’re unfolded, they’re much more than just big tubes that take up space in your home or patio. They are, in fact, a fantastic instrument for your child’s development!
Play Tunnel for Toddlers Approach for Kids to Exercise
Crawling into and out of tunnels obviously requires some effort. Crawling, scooting, and slithering through tunnels provide a different approach for kids to exercise their bodies than conventional play equipment. Simply by having fun, they will soon improve their arms, core, and legs. All of our play tunnels for toddlers have padded and covered interiors to keep those little elbows and knees comfortable when scooting through.
Motor Skills Development
When you start playing with a tunnel with your child when they are young enough, it will help them develop their motor skills quickly. Learning how to climb and how to use their arms and legs to travel through the tunnel will help them develop their motor skills.

Ramp Balls
Support one end of the tunnel with something sturdy, such as a stairwell, patio furniture, or a small retaining wall. Toss a bucket or other form of the basket over towards the tunnel’s bottom. Drop a softball from the top of the tunnel into the bucket or basket and see who can catch it!
Commute
This game is ideal for smaller kids, especially those who are learning to crawl or who have sensory processing challenges. Put something at one end of the tunnel, such as a bowl, and the principle is simple. Put car parts, blocks, or anything else that needs to be put together on the other end of the tunnel. Allow your kid to place the things in the bowl from one end to the other, and then assemble everything after they’re through.
