Alo Tikki Recipe
I started here with a recipe that immediately caught my eye: Potato Pancakes called Alo Tikki Recipe is truly my favorite dish. And I have never tried it while tasting many foods. The food is in the restaurant, so I’m glad I tried this dish!
These pancakes immediately inspired me to think of a recipe. Which I’ll reveal to you shortly, but hey, I won’t tell you anymore right now.
Ingredients
- 4 large sweet potatoes
- 2 white garlic, finely chopped
- 2 cm sliced fresh ginger
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 garam masala
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 finely chopped capsicum
- 1 small bunch of chopped red chilies.
- 4 tablespoons gram flour
- 2 Tablespoons of S. Filled with Natural Yogurt.
- 1 cup lemon juice
- Olive Oil
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
Peel and cut the potatoes into large cubes and cook in boiling water for 20 minutes, until soft, drain and mash with a fork, or mash on a large plate. Cut the white onion and fry it in hot oil by adding peeled and ground ginger, turmeric, garam masala, cumin, and garlic, add flour, curd, chili, and lemon juice to the potato. Add the garlic and coriander mixture. Mix well with a pinch of salt and pepper and then flatten with your hands and fry in a hot oven with a little olive oil for 3 minutes on each side.
Enjoy the heat.
